I asked yesterday for a recommendation for an HVAC company. My cool air wouldn't turn on and I live alone on oxygen. The first response I got was from Damien Tallent of Zone Control HVAC. He talked with me and walked me through a couple of things I could try which didn't work. At 8:30 he showed up and worked on the system fora couple of hours. he needed to get a circuit board so I would be without today (neither of us realized how cold it would be today) I told him I'd be fine and was so appreciative of quick reponse. he left. he came back a few minutes later and said he was going to me a window Ac to get me through until it got fixed. I told him I was fine. He was very bothered he couldn't make it right but I was so impressed by his professionalism and that fact that at that late at night he was offering to go beyond the call. Damion has serviced my furnace (oil heat) a couple of times now and is trustworthy enough to access my home while I am not there. He is fair in pricing and my most recent issue was resolved in hours (i.e. I texted him in the morning when I woke up and it was fixed before lunch). He also took the time to educate me on some things that need to be done to keep my furnace running.

My ac went up last Tuesday, called Lem's appliance he recommended zone control, so we called Damian. He came on Wednesday to look at it. First off Damian was a delight, honest up front, and explained everything. We needed a new one, by Friday it was ordered and Monday morning it was installed! 4days! Unheard of!! He even loaned us 2 window units as kit was supposed to be in the 80s and 90s over the weekend! I truly appreciate his dedication, we will use he again if necessary and definitely recommend to everyone!! Definitely 5 stars!!

We bought an old bank for an office space, the HVAC was old here and we had it "upgraded" to a newer system. Well that newer system was not what was expected. Called Damian at Zone Control, he came out diagnosed the issues and went to work. Replaced the old stuff, the "upgraded" stuff and now the HVAC is working the way it is supposed to. He found a ton wrong with what we were sold previous and corrected it all. Very clean, very professional and transparent. I have used Zone Control for all of my hvac needs since the inception of the business, and this year the company installed a full HVAC system and all duct work in my new home. My new system is incredibly SILENT and works efficiently (without running up my electric bill). After the third year in a row of paying for furnace repairs I decided it was time to bite bullet & get a new furnace. Zone Control's bid was by far the best. This company is awesome! They have integrity...something very few companies have today. Damien and Brandon are very professional and courteous. These guys went above and beyond for us. The heating system they removed from our home was old and filthy, but you could not tell they were even here, as not a trace of evidence was left behind when they were done with our install. They clearly demonstrated respect for us and our home. We were 100% satisfied with their work.

If you want someone who does a great job and is trustworthy, then you definitely want to give these guys a call. You won't be disappointed.

Had to call Zone Control due to A/C failure. They respinded right away and had our AC working again in less than 24 hrs! I say enough good about this comoany. Trust me ans give them a call! They won't disappoint!

Zone control HVAC is the only HVAC company that I will ever use from now on he was not only on time but early found and fixed the problem very quickly offered advice and even checked out another system for free Damian talent is an excellent repairman and businessman.

So, I don't normally write these, but I felt like this one I should. My wife and I struggled with HVAC issues since the beginning of November 2024 (HVAC was working 24/7 and not keeping up like it should on a 3-year-old system). We had several technicians come out and look at our system only to find out it was a "reversing valve" issue on our outside heat pump. Afterwards, we contacted numerous HVAC repair men and contacted a couple of the larger companies to give us quotes. Most ghosted us when they found out what the issue was, and others told us about how costly the repair would be and how "overpriced" their companies were (thank you ServiceToday).... We were referenced to Zone Control through Delaware Tech (my wife works for Del Tech) and spoke with Damion (I probably spelled the name wrong). He was straight up and honest. Told us the cost was not in the parts but in the labor itself. He scheduled us quick and came out a couple days before Christmas (we have a 18 month old and a 72 year old mother in the house) and worked on it. He didn't get it fixed the first day and told us exactly why and what was going on and said he'd be back the day after Christmas. And on that day he arrived as expected, didn't knock on the door and wake the baby (so much appreciated) and went straight to work with his assistant... Had it fixed in a flash and explained everything he was doing and all of the components he worked on and fixed. Both Damion and Chris (probably spelled his name wrong too) were awesome to work with and never once fed us any crap. And best of all, the A/C HVAC system works better than it ever has. They even wore little booties in the house to keep the house clean when the came in which kept my wife and mother-in-law very happy. My wife and mother-in-law are Belarussian so they are VERY skeptical of "repair men" but both of them were very satisfied and very pleased with the service. Zone Control has a customer for life and I would even trust these guys to come out to the house when I am not home. They were both great guys, very reasonable and willing to explain everything, and never tried to BS us about anything. They even had a great chance to sell us a new system but refused to because of the young age of the system we have. We will be using them soon for some mini-split systems (I think that is what they are called) for some of the rooms in our house and appreciate everything they did for us. the weather was 18 degrees recently and our system barely worked and still maintained the temperature in the house. We were very pleased. I just hope Damion remembers my XXL sweatshirt he promised me with their logo, lol. But in all honesty, this company has a customer for life and we will not use anyone else after the respect and hard work they gave us.

Called Zone Control as the temp was holding steady at 80 despite the central air unit running full force in 88 degree weather. Not only did Damion come out on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, he had our a/c back up and running in no time! Definitely recommend him for all your HVAC issues!

Was recommended through a friend.  Damian has serviced my old unit for two years now, always shows up when he says or even earlier.  Does high quality work at a very reasonable price and goes far and beyond to make sure he meets his customers inspections.  After realizing I wasn’t going to get another summer out of my unit I asked Damian to quote me a few options.  I made my mind up on going with the individual room split units and Damian made it happen.  Very pleased with the install and I know if I ever have an issue I know Damian will be there to fix whatever issue I have.

Called this company 10 pm on a Sunday in a heatwave because My a/c wasn't working. House temp was rising fast. Said he'd be there in a half hour. Was honest with his price upfront. I rent a home in Seaford and a gentleman named Bruce came out to service my heating system. He quickly diagnosed the problem, did the repair and went above and beyond even giving everything a good cleaning after! Exceptional service!

Had some issues with our 20yr old HVAC system. Called Zone Control. They came out almost immediately and diagnosed the system. Due to the nature of the issue, they let us know up front what the costs/risks would be repairing a 20yr old system were vs options of replacing. No pushy sales tactics, just humbly provided the info needed to make an informed decision about replacing vs repairing. We decided to go ahead and replace entire HVAC system (Furnace and AC). I typically get a couple of quotes from different contractors to compare, but didn't even feel the need this time. The price was honest and fair. Scheduling and paying invoicing was super easy. On install day, crew showed up exactly when he said they would. Communication was excellent. You can tell Damion takes pride in his work, his company, and pays close attention to the details. I notice things like that. They left my yard clean with nothing less than a professional install and no other trace of them being there otherwise. I recently had a split system with all new duct installed at my new home. I used zone control and they did very nice work. Everything was done quickly and efficiently! There was a lot of work to be done and a lot of blown in insulation to work around but with all that being said there was no mess left behind and everything was cleaned up very nice! I would recommend using Damian and his crew to anybody who is looking for a trustworthy, dependable HVAC technician!

Damien was great! He came on short notice at 8 PM on a Sunday night in the middle of the August heat. Our A/C unit had broken and it was getting way too hot in our house. He was good at communicating that he was on his way and what was going on with the unit. He did have the piece that was needed right on his truck and it fixed it quickly and professionally. Our air conditioning system wasn’t keeping the house as cool as it used too. The unit was 17 years old. Zone Control HVAC of Seaford was recommended to us by a friend. We called Damion and he was here the next morning to check the unit. He worked very hard to try and repair the HVAC system, to keep it going for at least another year.
After a couple of weeks, it was evident we were in need of a new HAVC system. He went out of his way to help us get the best system for our home. He explained everything to us and what we could do to make our home more energy efficient for the future. He was always available for questions and very professional.

I really didn’t wanna spend a ton but I also didn’t wanna cheap out and end up with more issues again like I keep doing over and over so I went with these guys! I appreciate how fast he was able to come out literally the day after checking out what I had going on I got my estimate later that day and the next day he was here installing a new system !! I went out after he installed it and came home to a nice cool home!!! And it’s not humid anymore thank god!!!🙌🏻 I have 32 rescues and couldn’t afford to wait for someone to show up in days or weeks! so him coming literally the day I called to give an estimate and the next day to install is everything I could have asked for. We've had Zone Control for several years now! We have a contract with them so we get serviced fully twice a year with monthly filter changes. We had our thermostat replaced too. Wonderful company!

My AC went on the fritz while I was at work with a wife and 1 month old baby at home. The inside temp was 80 degrees and rising, it was an emergency. It was also at the end of the day and these guys were on their way home but they turned around and shot right over. They easily found the problem and corrected it within an hour. So grateful for the quick response and willingness to help us out! Highly recommend and will be calling them again if there are any more problems.
